How do I make a booking? Full payment is required to confirm your booking. You can book online at www.theglam.co.za or telephonically 021 433 0481
How do I check if my booking was successful? You will receive a email from us.
What is the earliest time I can check in? The earliest you can check in is 2pm
What is the latest time I can check out? Strictly before 10:00 am.
Does The Glam have car parking facilities? Street parking is on a first-come-first-serve basis behind the guesthouse as well as in front. Like any busy city, do not leave any belongings in the car.
Can I cancel my booking? Yes, you can.
Does The Glam offer refunds? As a budget facility operation – our bookings are non- refundable.
Is The Glam self-catering? Unfortunately the rooms do not have self-catering facilities.
Breakfast or Dinner available? Not at the moment but we can recommend nearby restaurants or fast food outlets.
Does The Glam have internet access? Yes, wireless internet available throughout.
Do the rooms have en-suite bathrooms? Yes. All rooms have en-suites with a shower and toilet.
What are the beds like in the rooms? Standard rooms have double beds – and the Deluxe rooms have Queen size beds.
Does The Glam provide towels and soap? Yes – guest amenities and clean towels are provided daily.
Do The Glam rooms come with television and telephone? The rooms have Flat Screen televisions. Remotes are available at reception . Please note, there are no telephone in the rooms.
Do the rooms have windows? Yes – all of our rooms have windows.
Are there electrical power points in the rooms? Yes. Adapters are available at reception in exchange for a deposit which will be refunded once the adapter is returned.
Are there housekeeping facilities? The Glam has housekeeping.
How often is cleaning of the rooms done? Housekeeping is offered every morning.
Is there a wardrobe in the room? Yes
Can I smoke in the hotel rooms? Strictly No smoking in the property.
Can I pay with my credit card? Yes - not Diners.
Can I leave valuables in my room? The Glam accepts no liability for any lost goods and recommends that any items of value be kept in your possession.
Can I store luggage at The Glam? Unfortunately there is no facility for this
Are there laundry facilities at the hotel? The hotel does not cater for guest laundry – however the front desk can offer recommended launderettes within easy walking distance.
Does The Glam have a shuttle service? No, but we can recommend decently priced local services.
Does The Glam have a swimming pool? yes, available all year round
Does the The Glam have a lift? No need, double storey house
Are South Africa plug adapters the same as UK/USA adapters? No, they are different. Plug adapters are available at reception in exchange for a deposit that will be refunded once you return the adapter.
